On the Versus channel

Global Pursuits is a reality based hunting television series produced by the Osprey Filming Company. The programs do not feature any celebrities.  No faked retakes or fudged shots are used.

There are no endless, boring interviews. It’s about hunters experiencing the raw wilderness with all the accompanying trials and tribulations. It’s about hunting as it really happens.

Although the series is reality based, professional cameramen have shot all of the footage. Over the past two decades the Osprey Filming Company has been filming hunters as they traverse the globe in search of adventure.

No one, anywhere, has filmed as many hunting expeditions as we have. Osprey Filming has produced many hunting and conservation programs over the years, three of which have won prestigious television awards in the U.S.A.

The first series of Global Pursuits covers the more remote safari destinations of Africa. From the highlands of Ethiopia, across the sweltering heat of the Central African sahel through the Okavango delta of Botswana and into the Niassa wilderness of Mozambique.

Global Pursuits is not just about hunting. The series emphasizes the positive effects that hunting has on wild places and the people that live in the surrounding areas.

The harsh realities that face the conservation efforts of these areas are also highlighted.
