About the Osprey Filming Company

Over the past two decades the Osprey Filming Company has specialized in the production of wildlife documentaries and personalized hunting videos worldwide. Previous hunting assignments have included tracking down polar bear in the Arctic, Marco Polo sheep in Russia, blue sheep and golden tarkin in China, Ibex in Sudan.

We are regularly involved in expeditions to Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Mozambique and the Congo. A great deal of time is spent in Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. The company has also filmed in Pakistan, Spain, Alaska, Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia.

Osprey Filming has, over the years, produced many award-winning hunting and conservation programs. The widely acclaimed African Bolt-Action hunting video series is an Osprey Production.

Global Pursuits is our television hunting show which airs on the Versus channel in the USA, be sure to check local listings for show times.

Personalized hunting videos are our specialty, highlighting the day-to-day action of the safari as well as documenting aspects that are generally overlooked by the novice photographer. Our digital video cameras ensure broadcast quality reproduction. We are also able to film in the new HD high definition format.

Our four editing suites are Apple Macintosh based with cutting edge editing software. The final product is a professionally produced documentary, burnt to DVD, with commentary and original music score, tastefully presented in customized cover and box.

Many of our clients, over the years, have gone on to make a commercial production of their safari film. This is a lot easier than you may think. We can tailor-make your production to conform to the generally accepted format for safari films.

We take care of the artwork for the DVD covers and then put you in contact with the video duplicator and distributor.
